Philip Rhodes
Phil earned a BS in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University and did graduate work in polymer chemistry at NYU where he was a research associate in the School of Applied Science. Simultaneously, Phil earned his MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Prior to forming Broadview, Phil was the Director of Marketing and Sales for Lonza’s Polymer and Additive group where he headed a $70MM/year business unit. He had previously been the Vice President of Anhydrides & Chemicals, Inc., and was instrumental in negotiating the sale of the Anhydrides product line to Lonza in 1995.
From 1999 to the present day, Philip S. Rhodes has served as the president and co-owner of Broadview Technologies, Inc. Under his leadership, Broadview, in association with Polynt, has been a leading innovator of anhydride epoxy technology, non-hal flame retardants and anti-corrosion agents. Broadview’s corrosion additive division was spun off in 2004, and now operates as Hycrete, Inc.
In addition to serving as Broadview’s president, Phil has served on the Board of the Society of Plastics Industries’ Epoxy and Urethane Division. He has authored over a dozen technical papers and has been awarded multiple patents for anhydride, anti-corrosion, biodegradable polymer and fire-retardant advances. He is also involved in community service and currently serves on his town’s environmental commission.
Jason Tuerack
Jason Tuerack is co-owner and V.P. of Broadview Technologies, Inc., and he has been involved in the chemical industry since 1992. He received his B.A. from the University of Rochester and received his MBA from Zicklin School of Business
Jason has presented papers for, and has been involved in, a wide variety of trade organizations. He has also served as Conference Chairman for the Epoxy Resin Formulators Division of the Society of Plastics Industry. In addition, Jason previously served as a President for the Thermoset Resin Formulators Association (TRFA), which is focused on promoting all types of thermoset resins in areas of high tech plastics.
