This product is an excellent choice for powder coatings, electrical castings, filament winding and pultrusion, transfer-molding compounds, and epoxy curing agents. Its unique polymeric structure offers higher aromatic content to epoxy cured systems, as well as superior heat resistance, higher Tg, and low moisture permeability.
When added to other types of coatings, the AC-32 can impart properties such as excellent wet strength retention and superior abrasion resistance.Our AC-32 dianhydrides also impart high toughness to the coatings made with them, improving vibration dampening and thermal shock resistance.
In addition to these properties, AC-32 and its derivatives blend very well with our liquid anhydrides, especially MTHPA, MHHPA, and METH-E, creating mixtures that remain liquid at room temperature.
